Central to all that Regia Anglorum do is authenticity. To ensure that strict standards are kept, that evidence is challenged and regulations updated, Regia Anglorum has a team of knowledgeable people to inform the membership of the latest interpretations of what can be very scant evidence. They are chaired by, and report to, the Authenticity Officer, who has to balance the weight of evidence against what is workable within the society, as well as taking into account the desires of a membership for whom this is, after all, still a hobby.
